Flexible PVC Interlocking Tiles:
-
PVC is a material used to make window frames, plumbing pipe and other building products. For
Flexible PVC tiles, special plasticizers are added that cnange the material to have
rubber characteristics.
-
ResiliaTM easy to install with simple tools. No adhesive is required, and it takes about 30 seconds or so per tile, with a
final cost less than rubber tiles. Also since adhesive is not required, there's no risk of bonding failure, plus the advantage that interlocking tiles can be removed and reused at any time.
-
The interlocking features are completely hidden from view. Installation is by simply placing one floor tile
next to another and pressing the edges to interlock. The time to install is about 100 tiles per hour.
-
The final floor tile cost is around $3.85 per square foot, plus labor cost which may be zero if you do it yourself.
-
Floors do not require any preparation other than to ensure that they are swept clean and
do not have bumps in the surface. The interlocking tiles may be installed over concrete, wood floors,
old tile, painted floors or floors that have cracks and pits up to 3/8" across.
-
Floor Surfaces Resilia tiles are available in many standard colors in three surface patterns.
- Raised 1" Diameter Disks with a textured surface
- Raised Cross Grid with a textured surface
- Plain Flat with a textured surface
