Resilia Interlocking PVC Tiles are generally easy to clean
and compatible with normal maintenance practices.

1. Cleanup after Installation:

  • Hose with plain water or wash with any normal household detergent and then let dry.
  • We highly recommend OOPS as one of the best cleaners.
  • Windex is useful for removing stubborn marks.
  • Difficult marks can be removed with 'Toothpaste', but it must be the white type not gel.
  • For Tar marks, Acetone may be used.
    • However it is a solvent for PVC, and should be used carefully.
    • First soak the Acetone into a cloth, and then wipe softly.
    • Never pour Acetone onto tiles since it will soften the surface.
2. Initial Cleanup/Maintenance:
  • Remove all debris, dust and grit by sweeping, dust mopping or vacuuming.
  • Scrub the floor with a neutral pH (7–8.5) detergent.
  • Apply cleaning solution with a mop.
  • Scrub with a rotary scrubber with soft nylon brush or automatic scrubber with soft nylon brushes.
  • Pick up remaining solution with a wet-vac or mop.
  • Rinse with clean water and allow to dry.
3. Apply commercial floor finish:
Commercial and high traffic floors may have dirt or marks that are difficult
to remove. In such situations it is recommended to apply a commercial floor
finish a protective barrier and also to ease subsequent cleaning
  • Apply 3 to 4 coats of high quality, commercial, acrylic floor finish.
  • Apply with a clean finish mop or finish applicator.
  • Allow 30 minutes dry time between each coat.

Daily or Regular Maintenance:
Use OOPS:
  • We highly recommend OOPS as one of the best cleaners.
Dry Procedure:
  • Remove surface soil, debris, sand and grit by sweeping, dust mopping or vacuuming.
  • Spray, clean and buff using a rotary machine (175–1500 rpm) with an appropriate pad and spray buff solution. Wet Procedure:
    • Scrub or mop with neutral pH (7–8.5) detergent. If floor is exposed to grease or oil, use a degreasing detergent.
    • Apply cleaning solution with a mop
    • Scrub with rotary scrubber with soft nylon rushes, or automatic scrubber with soft nylon rushes.
    • Pick up remaining solution with a wet vac or mop.
    • Rinse with clean water, and allow floor to dry.
