Resilia tiles are suitable for residential, commercial and industrial kitchens or bathrooms, however due to wetness and oil vapor conditions, Floor Surfaces specifically does assume any liability regarding slip resistance in either dry, wet, grease, soapy or oil vapor conditions.
Further the use of Resilia tiles or any other tiles used in kitchens, or any other applications are subject to slip conditions beyond our control due to oils, oil vapors, water and soap substances or due the the inherent frictional characteristics of the tile material, surface design and texture, and Floor Surfaces does not assume any liability for its tiles used under such conditions.

See: Installation
- Resilia Interlocking Floor Tile may be installed without adhesives on any firm, flat surface, using only a small roller, utility knife and common installation tools. Some applications, or a portion of a floor, may require tiles to be glued together or glued to the sub-floor.
- The area to receive flooring should be weather-tight and maintained at a temperature between 60° F to 70° F for 48 hours prior to and during the installation.
- The material must be maintained 60° F to 70° F for a minimum of 24 hours before starting the installation.
Failure to maintain the tile at this temperature prior to installation may result in temporary variances in tile size. Also the installation may become difficult since floor tiles made from Flexible PVC, typically get harder as it get colder.
- Resilia Floor Tile does not require adhesive and is designed to allow slight venting of water emission from floors. However some concrete floors have excessive moisture emission conditions that may cause potential microbial growth. In such cases existing flooring material and adhesive should be removed, and the concrete shot blasted to help prevent potential microbial growth problems, and then to apply a sealer designed to prevent microbial growth and resist moisture emission.
